Ally graduated with her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She is a trauma-informed therapist who believes that every child deserves to have their strengths celebrated. Ally has been on each side of the therapeutic relationship, both as a provider and as a parent to a child enrolled in early intervention. Her unique background has made her passionate about honoring each family’s journey and experience. She believes that children learn best when they are engaged in meaningful and playful interactions, and that caregivers are a vital part of intervention. Her focus is to partner with caregivers to implement realistic and helpful strategies to help their child grow and thrive in all areas of development. Ally has a special interest and additional education in Infant Mental Health, trauma-informed care, neurodivergent advocacy, and social justice. She takes part in monthly reflective consultation to broaden her understanding of racism, white supremacy, privilege, power, and bias, and is always working to understand how these issues impact her own work with families, and her role within broader systems of oppression. Her ultimate goal is for every family she works with to feel heard, supported, and respected. In addition to early intervention, Ally enjoys spending time with her daughter, reading novels, taking walks with her dog, and watching reality TV with her husband.
