Kathleen, now happly retired, held SLP Licenses in Maryland, Florida, CA, and Washington DC. She has 24 years of experience working with children and adult clients in public schools, elementary, middle, and high school, Ronald McDonald House, hospitals, outpatient services, rehab centers, and home health. She worked for Santa Cruz Elementary School. CA and Yosemite Schools, CA, providing virtual therapy and most recently was full-time for DC public schools. Kathleen developed Open Book Speech and Language Resources, which offers a variety of private SLP Services and ideas. She currently enjoys living on a lake with a huge garden and sauna, while watching birds, deer, bears, beavers, coyotes, and wolves. Close at hand, you will find her motorcycles and snowmobile which allow adventures beyond her home. At right is a photo taken on one of her cycling trips to Mount Vernon.
